We know it's a really challenging time for everyone, and we too feel the stress and strain that has come with this outbreak. All of us are being overwhelmed with information and times of uncertainty lie ahead, but we would like you to know how serious we are taking the current health situation.

At this time we plan to remain open.

We will do everything in our power to continue providing a safe space for people to stay healthy, train and de-stress, so long as it's safe to do so. At this time we will continue offering CrossFit and Sweat! classes. Our Fit55 program and Kids Program will be suspended indefinitely.

Keeping our community fit and healthy has always been our #1 priority. 

Our team, from coaches to cleaning staff, will be following protocols outlined by the Public Health Agency. New gym community guidelines have been created to ensure CrossFit Omagh remains a safe space for our community. These guidelines have been shared to all members via email and will be displayed throughout our facility.

 

We will continue to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in our facility by continuing with multiple deep cleans daily, and disinfecting regularly throughout the day. Along with thorough cleaning schedules, we are making it protocol for both coaches and clients to to disinfect all items of equipment used in class. You can find spray bottles, wipes and hand sanitisers located throughout the gym and your coach will remind you before & after each class of the protocols in place.

Please DO NOT under any circumstance attend classes if you are feeling unwell, if you've been in contact with anyone who has had a confirmed case of COV-19, or if you've been in contact with anyone who has a fever or cough. We've always allowed our members to freeze their plan without fee and in the event of closure we will happily apply this to all memberships.

We are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and health of our members while training at the gym. While the risk of contracting COVID-19 has remained low for most people, CrossFit Omagh serves a spectrum of members from kids to the elderly, so we’re taking the necessary precautions to minimise the spread of this or any illness. Below we’ve detailed some additional measures we’ve implemented as well as some advice for members.

  1. Members should minimise contact with other people. Please refrain from fist pumps after workouts.

  2. Everyone must wash their hands before and after each session. Hand sanitiser is located at the front desk and Wodify kiosks.

  3. Along with our thorough cleaning schedules, we are making it protocol for both coaches and clients to to disinfect all items of equipment used in class. You can find spray bottles, wipes and hand sanitisers located throughout the gym and your coach will remind you before & after each class of the protocols in place.

  4. Members should not, under any circumstance, attend classes if they are feeling unwell, if they've been in contact with anyone who has had a confirmed case of COV-19, or if they've been in contact with anyone who has a fever or cough. Your workout is less important than the well being of our overall community. Any coach or staff member exhibiting flu-like symptoms will be required to stay home without question.

  5. We encourage all members to be familiar with the basic prevention guidelines from the CDC like coughing into your elbow, washing your hands regularly and avoiding touching your face.

With some basic precautionary steps we believe we can do our part in minimising the potential spread of illness while keeping CrossFit Omagh the fun and dynamic training environment you all know and love.
